Vince Tabone was born and raised in Queens. He and his wife Saida and their two daughters and one son live in Bayside. Their daughters have attended PS 31 and MS 158. Saida is an Assistant Principal at a Queens High School. The Tabone’s are parishioners at St. Robert Bellarmine in Bayside. Vince is a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus.

As a young man Vince secured his BBA from Baruch College in New York City while working full time on Wall Street. Later Vince attended New York Law School on a merit scholarship while working full time and raising a young family.

Vince’s experience in Republican politics includes having being elected a District Chairman and then State Committeeman and eventually to Executive Vice Chairman of the Queens County Republican Party. Vince is also District Chairman of the 26th Assembly District Republican Committee, representing approximately 16,000 registered Republicans in Northeastern Queens.

Vince has worked in virtually every winning downstate Republican campaign for Mayor, State Senate and City Council in Queens over the past decade.

Before entering the private practice of law Vince served in two Republican mayoral administrations (Giuliani and then Bloomberg) and one Republican gubernatorial administration (Pataki). Most recently Vince was the General Counsel and an Assistant Special Deputy Superintendent at a New York State agency overseeing all litigation, corporate, and contracting matters for insolvent insurers, with billions in assets at stake.

He also served as a Vice President at the New York City Economic Development Corporation under the Deputy Mayor for Economic Development and Rebuilding. There Vince was responsible for multi-million dollar commercial and industrial developments throughout the five boroughs and vested with primary responsibility for Queens County economic development. In this capacity he also served on a number of Mayoral and Borough President task-forces and represented EDC and City Hall at the Queens Chamber of Commerce and numerous other forums.

Vince also worked at the NYC Department of Housing Preservation and Development on many successful affordable and senior housing development projects.

Vince was a Director of Research at a Securities and Exchange Commission contractor where he performed precedents research for initial public offerings and mergers and acquisitions and conducted seminars concerning SEC regulations and disclosure requirements.

Vince has served on the Alumni Board of Directors of New York Law School. He also served as a Council Member on Community Education Council District 26. He continues to be active in community and county civics and politics. He serves on a pro bono basis as General Counsel to Friends of Oakland Lake, a parks and lake preservation not-for-profit. He remains a Board Member of the Bayside Historical Society, the 111 Community Precinct Council and the Alley Pond Environmental Center.
